1. Consume spinach – Spinach is a green leafy vegetable available easily in the market and is good to improve haemoglobin levels. It has high levels of vitamin A, B9, C and iron along with calcium and beta carotene and is good to improve haemoglobin levels.

2. Tomatoes – Vitamin C is extremely important for the absorption of iron. Tomatoes have a good amount of vitamin C in them and should thus be consumed. Tomatoes are super malleable in terms of its culinary usage, you can toss it in a salad or add to it your sandwich.

3. Dates – Dates are fruits which are derived from the palm tree and are rich in iron. Apart from iron, they are a good source of minerals like calcium, manganese and copper.

4. Nuts and grains – Whole grains and nuts are a good source of iron and folic acid, and can work well to improve haemoglobin levels when consumed regularly. Beans, whole wheat bread and legumes are easily available and healthy for an everyday diet.
