Dry skin on face is a common problem, especially during the winter time. This usually leads to flaky skin that starts peeling and burns occasionally. Fortunately, this problem is solvable, it just requires a little bit of patience and some attention to the problem area. Here are 3 ways to get rid of dry skin on face.
1. Keep yourself hydrated – Make sure to drink a lot of water – at least 8 to 10 glasses – throughout the day. Water will help in reducing the dryness and will make your skin smooth. Drinking water is the most natural way you can mend your peeling skin.
2. Use a moisturizer multiple times a day – You need to invest in a great moisturizer, as it is the best solution to a dry skin. Keep in mind to use natural or herbal products, because those moisturizers which have harmful chemicals can do more harm than good. Use the moisturizer at least once after taking a bath and once before going to sleep and be persistent, as you will notice the results soon enough.
3. Apply coconut oil or jojoba oil – Another great moisturizer for your skin is oil and make sure to use coconut or jojoba oil while taking a bath. You can apply it on your face – though not before leaving the house as it can make your skin look sticky – or add a few drops of oil to the bathtub and bathe with lukewarm water.
