3 ways to treat your skin at home

Updated Trends: Skin care treatments are often expensive when indulged at the skin care parlors. But there are also plenty of remedies by which the skin can be taken care of even at home. There are a number of ways to take skin treatments at home with the help of the ingredients that are freely available.

1. Skin exfoliation – Exfoliation is often a common problem that most people face. Mix one tablespoon of ground nuts churned in the mixer grinder, a few almonds, milk and curd. Apply this on face and scrub it for five minutes and your skin would get rid of all the dead cells.

2. Egg treatment – In a bowl, beat an egg yolk, a few drops of essential oils and a teaspoon of olive oil. Mix the ingredients with a fork and apply the mixture on the face. This is a good face mask for the skin that is also safe for daily use.

3. Treatment for darkened skin – Many times the skin around the nails, especially on the toes, becomes dark and makes your feet look ugly. Cut a lemon in to half and just rub the lemon on the affected area for at least 15 minutes and leave it for half an hour and wash it with coldwater. Follow this procedure daily.
