Christians around the world are moving towards Israel to witness Christmas in Bethlehem. It is something really shocking to see that Christians from the neighbouring Arab nations too are moving towards Israel for the first time this Christmas.
There is a huge rush of tourists from Europe and United States who flock towards Israel during Christmas eve. According to the schedule, the people will be having a traditional procession taking place at the Manger Square, then there will be a midnight mass which will be conducted by the senior most Bishop of the Middle East.
It is expected that the Bishop will be delivering a sermon on peace and love for the Middle East this year. Bethlehem exactly falls in the West Bank Region of Israel, which is also disputed with wars and regional instability since many years. It has also been noticed that the number of Catholics in the Arab region are dropping consistently, because of the terrorist attacks and the ongoing wars.
