Updated Trends: Oprah Winfrey Invites Talks Show Hosts On Show, Creates History
The legendary show host, Oprah Winfrey, has made history by inviting several talk show hosts on her sitcom on the 10th November. The invitees included Montell Williams, Phil Donahue, Sally Jessy Raphael, Ricki Lake and Geraldo Rivera, who have never appeared on a talk show together in their careers.
It was the first time an incident as such has taken place, and indeed this was history being made on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She took the moment to say that “We have never all been in one room together, so this is a first… About 110 people have had their own daytime talk show; most did not last very long, and only a few became household names.”
Prior to this the show earned heavy fame when she had invited the family of the Late Michael Jackson on her studio. Winfrey has now become an idol in talk show history around the world, as there have been innumerable personalities who have come on the talk show and have shared some time of theirs with her and with all the viewers around the world.
