Updated Trends: Nissan Motors Recall 2.1 Million Cars Worldwide Due To Engine Problems
Japanese car manufacturer Nissan Motors, has recalled some 2.1 million cars from the worldwide market, due to an engine problem discovered in their vehicles. It is a major set back for Nissan, as they are one of the world’s leading car manufacturers and they have a huge market in Asia and America. This is the company’s second recall this year, as the first one was done in the month of March.
As per company officials, they have officially announced the recall on Thursday in Japan. The officials have also said that Nissan engineers have discovered engine stalling issues with the vehicle .There have also been no reported cases or accidents, but in an extreme situation, the stalled vehicle would refuse to restart.
The recall has affected the following countries – China, England, Japan, Spain, Taiwan and the United States. The company says that the affected models belong to the manufacturing years between 2003 – 2006. There are six Nissan models which have been affected by the engine stalling issue, they are the Armada, Frontier, Pathfinder, Titan, Xterra and Infiniti QX56.
