Unusual hair hacks to have healthy hair

None likes to have damaged hair. Healthy and bouncy hair makes you feel confident about your appearance. Unhealthy hair also makes it prone to break, become dry  and also reduces its thickness and that could happen due to lifestyle factors, age and other environmental factors. Here we will be sharing a few unusual and never heard before tips to help your commitment towards healthy hair.

  1. Brush hair before shower – Now this might be reverse of what people actually do. Wet hair can be prone to breakage. Brushing the hair for about a minute before shower can also make it easier to detangle it. Brushing your hair will also allow the natural oils from the scalp to hair ends.
  2. Deep condition your hair – The hair undergoes a lot of wear and tear on an everyday basis. It needs conditioning which can be done by applying a few drops of conditioner from mid-hair length to the ends of the hair. Leave it for 2 to 3 minutes and rise off with water at room temperature.
  3. Apply a hair mask – Once in a week, you can pamper your hair with a hair mask to keep it smooth and hydrated. You can make a hair mask at home by mixing an egg, full-fat yoghurt and a few teaspoons of coconut oil. Apply the mixture on your scalp and hair length and leave it for an hour and rinse off with water.
  4. Have a healthy diet  – Make sure that you have a healthy and a balanced diet that includes eggs, fish, nuts, beans, seasonal fruits and fresh vegetables. It provides the hair with a collagen boost, giving it strength and growth.
  5. Use satin pillow cases – People who use cotton pillow cases might experience dryness as it sucks up moisture. You can instead use a satin cover which allows your hair to have its moisture and helps to keep it soft, long and gorgeous.
