Skincare tips to be followed by men during lockdown

The lockdown induced by the coronavirus pandemic, has forced a number of people inside the house for their safety. This is the time when a number of people struggle to kill time and also allows them to pamper themselves. While women have a number of ways to take care of their skin, hair and overall health, but there are hardly any spaces that discuss skincare for men. Here we will be discussing some skincare tips that can be followed by men during the lockdown time.

1. Cleansing, exfoliation and moisturization – The first step towards skincare is to cleanse the skin to get rid of all the dirt, and pollutants from the skin surface. After cleansing, it is important to exfoliate the skin as it helps to remove the dead cells and helps the skin to revive. This should be done at least once a week. Then the next step is moisturization after the exfoliation has been done.

2. Eat healthy – when you are eating healthy, the skin also receives some of the nutrition. Instead of eating junk or processed food, you could include green leafy vegetables and fruits. Apart from eating right, you also need to hydrate your body with plenty of water.

3. Take time to exercise – Exercise is also a great way to take care of the skin. It brings a glow on the face and also improves the elasticity of the body. Exercise not just improves the skin quality but also improves hair health.

4. Reduce screen time – Since you are at home amidst a lockdown, there are chances that you could end up spending more time in front the screens. But not many are aware that the artificial lights takes away the moisture of the skin. It could also lead to a breakdown of the collagen. You could try taking breaks in between or spend more time in meditation or with family.
