Pink Himalayan salt is different from the regular processed salt that is available in the market. 3. Pink salt is beneficial for the body as it helps to maintain the fluid balance in the body that prevents the body from getting dehydrated. The presence of sodium is important to maintain fluid balance.
4. People who consume only pink salt, could be prone to deficiency of iodine. Iodine is important for the body and in order to maintain the levels it is also important to consume iodized salt also.
Pink Himalayan salt can be used as a regular salt. You can season the food while preparing meals. If it is in crystalized form, you can churn it in to the food processor to make it easier to be used as a regular salt. Make sure that you store it in an air tight container to prevent clumping. There are also lamps and candle holders which are available in the market and are helpful to boost mood and improve sleep.
