Updated Trends: Trapped Chilean Miners Could Be Out This Weekend – Chile Officials
Chilean officials have stated that the trapped Chile miners could be out and rescued by this weekend. These promising words have provided great relief to the families of the 33 trapped miners. The engineers drilling the deep mine to rescue miners, too, have quickened their rescue efforts. The head engineer of the rescue team has stated that they are only 160 mtrs away from the trapped miners.
Chilean President Sebastian Pinera stated earlier that they were really close to the miners and will be rescued really soon. The miners have been trapped underground for the past two months, which is longer than any other group trapped in a mine.
The rescue group has already surpassed the tough section of 464 mtrs of hard rock in the mine. As per the speed of the ongoing work, it is said that they will be shattering the roof of their shelter in the next 3-4 days. It is really a good sign now that the miners will finally be out of their trapped caverns after two long months.
