6 Tested ways of losing weight faster

There are a number of people who are struggling to lose weight but have failed a number of times trying different methods. The secret to lose weight is to identify your body and know what it needs. Lack of willpower also makes the process tough. However, here is a list of things that can be adopted on an everyday basis and are tried and tested methods to lose weight.

1. Eat your food slowly – Your food eating habits surely have a good influence on your body weight. It is important to eat your food slowly as it helps to reduce weight. It makes you feel full and also boosts weight reducing hormones.

2. Get enough sleep – Deprivation of sleep diminishes diminishes the ability of the body to properly respond to insulin signals. When they are not responsive to insulin. When you are not responsive to insulin then the blood glucose remains on the higher side. Eventually the excess insulin causes you to store fat in all the wrong places.

3. Eat quality foods – We are not talking about healthy but quality foods. Starving yourself of a particular food does not good for the body and is surely not a solution to weigh loss. Boiled potatoes, leafy greens, salmon, whole eggs, cottage cheese, soups, avocados, nuts and wholegrains are some of the foods that help to lose weight.

4. Drink plenty of water – This goes without saying that water helps to wash away toxins from the body which increases the body fat. It also helps in boosting the metabolism and also acts as an appetite suppressant.

5. Drink coffee and tea – Caffeine helps in boosting metabolism and also helps to burn more calories. It also helps to increase your energy levels to work out more and shed some more calories.

6. Never skip breakfast – Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and include foods which provide nutrients and vitamins needed by the body.
