Beyoncé and Jay-Z supposedly gave their new-born twins these common names

This past weekend, the Beyhive was buzzing with news that Beyoncé may have just delivered her long-awaited twins. A number of photographs and insider news claimed that she and rapper mogul husband, Jay-Z got a whole floor of a Los Angeles hospital, where their twins – a rumoured boy and girl – were delivered. While there has been no appearance by the hip-hop royalty couple, neither any statements being made by their reps, we can only make up stories about the most exciting news, so far, of 2017.

And if rumours are to be believed, then Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have even named their double bundles of joy already. According to sources, wait for it, their fraternal twins are named Bea (pronounced “Bee”) and Shawn. That means that Bey and Jay would be totally narcissistic to name their kids after themselves! We all know “Bee” stands for Beyoncé, and Shawn is actually Jay-Z’s real name – Shawn Carter.

In any case, the twins have been born into a life of luxury with role models as parents. They join elder sister and first child for the loved-up couple, Blue Ivy. There were other reports that the growing family have made it home at last, and they seem to be spending as much quality time as they can together. Jay-Z, who changed his name back from Jay Z, is about to drop his latest album, 4:44 this June 30.

And in related news, Beyoncé has technically released her first statement since delivering her babies. Last night’s BET Awards 2017 was spectacular, though Bey couldn’t come herself to accept her multiple awards for Lemonade, including the Viewers’ Choice Award for Sorry from the album. Instead, she sent her Parkwood Entertainment muses, Chloe x Halle to accept the award on her behalf. On behalf of the new mother, they reiterated to the audience –

Thank you BET for this award and your tremendous support for Lemonade. This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honouring the past and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve. Thank you to my mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, for being my biggest, biggest teacher and constant influence. Thank you to my entire family for so much love. To my team at Parkwood, thank you. And thanks to all my fans, my BeyHive, for riding with me. I love and appreciate you. To everyone at the show tonight, you all look so beautiful and at home, thank you and have a wonderful, wonderful night. From, Beyoncé.
