Sensation spread on the Miami Airport once more, when a scientist was detained after the x-ray system detected some that looked more like pipe bomb in his luggage. The officials finally found a metal canister that looked like an explosive but was not. The man was stopped over suspicion.

The man was a 70 year old man who was carrying this luggage and when he had put his luggage through the screener, the authorities detected something that was suspicious. The officials stated that the condition on the airport is very vigilant and is a part of the ongoing investigations.

Due to the detection of the suspicious item, four of the six concourses on the Miami International Airport, and an onsite hotel had to be evacuated. The bomb squad from Miami spent almost the whole night in the investigation and search of any bomb in the airport, flights were detained too. The police stated that the shut down was for precautionary measures. The Miami airport became fully functional after 04.00 am.
