Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 Is Debuting At New York Fashion Week

Rapper and fashion designer, Kanye West is headed out to New York Fashion Week. And no, he isn’t accompanying reality star wife, Kim Kardashian, rather he is going to be debuting his fashion line, Yeezy with Season 5 in association with Adidas.

Kanye’s Yeezy show will be unveiled at Pier 59 Studios. Previously, he held his fashion shows at Madison Square Garden and Roosevelt Island, but these venues were technically unreachable, with only those who were invited being able to attend, especially the large extended Kardashian-Jenner family, who turned up in fur coats to grace the fashion event. And let’s not forget all those models who were fainting in the sun because of their precarious positioning.

Yeezy’s show will debut after fashion mogul, Anna Sui (the designer who is favorited by the likes of Madonna and The White Stripes‘ Jack White). Kanye is always known to throw surprises to his fans with each show, so Yeezy Season 5 should be fun as well.

Kanye West was in a little trouble last year, when he suddenly stopped a performance in the middle of his Life Of Pablo tour and cancelled remaining scheduled performances. He voluntarily checked himself into UCLA Medical Center for undisclosed mental conditions, though reports said it was mostly due to exhaustion and dehydration. Prior to his public breakdown, he had been going crazy on social media, especially Twitter, where he criticized fellow stars and went berzerk, rambling on and on for minutes on end.

Kanye’s latest album was Life Of Pablo that spawned the infamous track, Famous the video of which showed him in bed with life-like wax statues of his ex Amber Rose, Rihanna and a number of other personalities, including Taylor Swift, with whom he’s been feuding for years now. In fact, his wife Kim brought down Taylor’s name in public after releasing recordings of her, though she herself later faced tragedy when she was attacked and robbed in Paris at gunpoint.
