Updated Trends: Tropical Storm Fiona Emerges In The Atlantic, Just Behind Earl
It has not been even a day for the residents of the Leeward Islands in the Atlantic, that they had a close shave with a Category 4 Hurricane Earl, comes the news that they will witnessing a new threat from oncoming tropical storm Fiona. Tropical Storm Fiona has emerged in the Atlantic, just behind Hurricane Earl.
Fiona has been formed in the Atlantic and is churning its way to Leeward Islands in the East Caribbean. It is currently located 500 miles east of the coast of Leeward Islands and is on the path towards the Caribbean. Most of the West Indies Islands can come in the grasp of Fiona.
Fiona has sustained wind speeds of 40 miles per hour and is travelling in the west northwest direction at 24 mph. It has been forecast that the center or the edge of the storm system will be passing over the Leeward Islands, but then later will turn towards the ocean. There will be some gradual development in the storm system in the next 48 hours.
