Yes! It’s that time of the year again when one of fashion’s biggest annual runway events takes place – The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This year, 2016, the event is being held this week in the romantic city of Paris and a total of 53 models will don their wings to strut the sexiest ramp for a show that has transcended fashion and become a global phenomenon. Models have made their careers thanks to Victoria’s Secret; fitness and wellness is derived from the lifestyle that these ‘angels’ indulge in.
A few weeks ago, we brought to you the faces of all the maiden angels who will be gracing the runway with their wings for the first time. Also, in Victoria’s Secret history, this is the first time that two sisters – Gigi and Bella Hadid will be walking together. And this year, it is model Jasmine Tookes who will wear the beautiful (and extremely expensive) wonder bra. Unfortunately, Karlie Kloss, Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo will be sitting out of this year’s show – sigh. Slated to perform at the event is none other than Starboy, The Weeknd.
