The company that made Map My Run app for runners also made similar apps for different sports, such as Map My Ride for cyclists and Map My Fitness.  Map My Fitness will give you a wide range of activities it supports, all the apps have settings that let you track different sports and workouts. So basically you just need to download one of the apps and you can use it for any other activity. Map My Fitness has more than 600 activities. You can avail teh premium features by paying a fees of $5.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Map My Fitness uses GPS to track the routes you travel and shows you a map of the ground you covered. It displays time and distance, pace, maximum speed and a few other statistics.

The app called Pear Training-Intelligence  guides you to run according to how much pressure your heart can take. It is designed to be used with a heart rate monitor made by the same company. It’s a very accurate system for those who are training and find it difficult to to monitor and control their heart rate. Use Pear for runs, jogs and longer-term training for races. The app also has a real human voice making the audio feature a great experience.
