Rihanna slays. On the stage, on the runway, on the road. Doesn’t matter. She is all about her own fashion sense and style and so it’s great that she’s bringing her talent and creativity to the masses with her fantastic Puma x Fenty collection. Her previous collection SOLD OUT within a few hours of release, and she’s back for more!
When she landed for Paris Fashion Week 2016, she was enthusiastic and positive about its success, saying before the show, “Let’s make some money!” and then went on to showcase some unique pieces with models that were a spectrum of color and sexual orientation.
Taking a different path from her previous goth-Japanese look, this time Rihanna went for mostly pinks and florals with lace and pearls to accessorize the pastels. Taking inspiration from none other than one of France’s most opulent monarchs, Marie Antoinette. The pieces did have hints of Japanese styling in them, but it was overall about comfort and decadence at one go.
The collection is meant to be athleisure wear, though it mostly hints at leisure wear. But, if you do take it to the gym, you will be setting a trend that suggests you got out of bed and hit the treadmill before coffee. It can be added here that the collection has serious feminine traits, with pretty lace and pearls, a la Antoinette style.
Rihanna herself stepped out in a laced jacket and comfy lace pants, flashing a pink fan with PUMA on it and trailing with pearls. The release date for her collection is not yet out, but expect this one to sell out as well.
