Updated Trends: The White House Says, President Obama Is A Christian Not A Muslim
The White House on Thursday stated that their President, Barack Obama is not a Muslim but a good Christian. Doubts and questions have been rising from all over America after his Mosque statement, about which religion he actually belongs. It was after a poll taken that it was revealed that out the 18% every one person out of the five believed that Obama was a Muslim.
Last years poll state that 48% people believed he was a Christian, but this year only 34% believe. After looking at these stats, White House spokesperson Bill Burton stated that President Obama is Christian and not a Muslim. He told the American people that they should be worrying about the economy and the wars in the Middle East, not to search news of what religion the President belongs.
He also added that he is a good Christian and he prays everyday. The polls were conducted by the Pew Research Center, and it was after the controversial statements made by Obama over the planned Mosque near Ground Zero.
