Updated Trends: Sreeram Chandra From Hyderabad Is The Winner Of Indian Idol 5
It was Sreeram Chandra, 24, who stood out victorious on the grand finale of Indian Idol 5 which was held on India’s Independence Day, 15th of August. Sreeram beat Rakesh Mani and Bhoomi Trivedi who managed to survive till the finals. But then it was Sreeram’s day on Sunday, when he received the Indian Idol 5 award.

The Indian Idol 5 award was presented to Sreeram by India’s greatest bollywood star, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He won Rs.50 Lakhs, one year contract with Sony BMG and a Tata Winger car. Along with this he also received a chance to sing for a Yash Raj movie.
It is not something new for Shreeram to singing in movies, he has already sung in Telugu movies in Hyderabad. Sreeram started to si8ng from his college days, but the training for his voice commenced when he was a child. He had also participated in other singing competions like Star Voice of India and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa the Telugu version in Andhra.
