Chinese meals are not only delicious but nutritious and aromatic too. There is no doubt that a good Chinese chicken recipe is a must have for every home. For this reason, we compiled a list of 5 incredibly delicious Chinese inspired chicken recipes.
Preparation Duration: 1 Hour
Ingredients: Chicken, vegetable oil, onions, vinegar, salt, red chilli, bell pepper, bamboo shoot, ginger, soya sauce, garlic, spring onion.
Cut the chicken into slices of your preferred sizes and mix them with ground paste and vinegar.
Set them aside for around 30 minutes.
Set high heat and heat the oil together with red chilli to the point where they start getting dark.
Cut the onions.
Add the chicken and stir- fry over high heat.This is done till opaque.
Reduce the heat and let it cook till it becomes soft.
Add bamboo shoots and onion mixtures and mix well.
Introduce chilli sauce, soya sauce and salt. Increase the heat and mix them well.
Serve.
Preparation Duration: 15 Minutes
Ingredients: Chicken, red chilli, tomato puree, vegetable oil, sugar, soya sauce, basil, garlic, green chillies.
Preparation Method:
Add oil in a pan and introduce chopped garlic, chillies and sauté.
Add chicken pieces and allow it cook for a minute. Thereafter, coat the chicken with chillies and garlic plus salt and toss.
Add chilli sauce once chicken is almost cooked.
Add soya sauce, tomato puree and sugar.
Cook until the sauce begins to reduce.
Introduce basil and stir.
Serve.
Preparation Duration: 45 Minutes
Ingredients: Chicken, eggs, salt, green chillies, garlic, vegetable oil, ginger, onion, soy sauce, cornflour, vinegar.
Mix chicken, cornflour, egg, garlic paste, ginger and enough water to coat the chicken with the mixture. Set them aside for 1/2 an hour.
Heat oil and deep fry the chicken over high heat. Lower the heat shortly after.
Fry the chicken till it cooks and dry off the excess oil using an absorbent material.
Introduce onions in 2 table spoons of oil in a pan and heat while stir-frying until glossy.
Introduce green Chillies and heat for a minute.
Add soy sauce, salt, vinegar, then mix with the deep-fried chicken.
Serve.
Preparation Duration: 45 Minutes
Ingredients: Chicken, soy sauce, ginger, capsicum, mushroom, water chestnut,lettuce, paprika, sesame oil, fish sauce, garlic, spring onion, coriander leaves, radish, dates, vinegar.
Boil some water for 1/2 an hour and soak mushroom in it. Drain them and get rid of the stems.
In heated oil, stir-fry chicken till brownish and take it off the pan.
Fry ginger,garlic and capsicum for 2 minutes.
Put the chicken back to the pan with all the remaining ingredients but coriander and lettuce.
Heat the mixture and ensure you season.
Serve while hot on top of lettuce that is garnished with coriander.
Preparation Duration: 1 Hour
Ingredients: Chicken, vinegar, celery, tomato puree, onion, all purpose flour, vegetable oil, cornflour, garlic, soya sauce, salt, ginger, egg, capsicum.
Mix chicken, garlic, ginger paste, egg, water and ajino moto to make the some thick batter.
Set them aside for around 10 minutes.
Introduce small scoops of the batter into heated oil and fry till brownish then drain the excess oil off.
Put 2 tea spoons of oil in a pan and heat.
Put garlic and onions in the heated oil and stir-fry the onions to a glossy look.
Introduce capsicum and stir.
Thereafter add sauce mixture and simmer to get a thick sauce.
Add the balls that were fried and mix well.
Serve.
