Updated Trends: Reports State Pakistan Holds More Nuclear And Fissile Materials Than India
Latest reports by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientist, states that Pakistan now holds more nuclear weapons than India while and China has almost three times more the figure which India holds. Pakistan houses some 70-90 nuclear weapons and Indian has some 60-80 nuclear weapons.
More news in the reports state that both the nations, India and Pakistan are now increasing their nuclear weapons arsenal. But the main point to ponder about is that the ‘Global Nuclear Weapons Inventories’ has reported that both the countries have not disclosed a correct figure of their nuclear weapons stockpile.
The other point that the report states that the countries North Korea, India, Pakistan and Israel, have not clarified their nuclear stockpile and also that their weapons are not in operational status. But one thing if for sure, that Pakistan and India are increasing their nuclear arsenal.
