Blackheads don’t need a salon, learn these home remedies to remove blackheads.
Blackheads are undesirable growths on the skin especially on the nose surface and are caused due to excess oil production by the skin glands. Blackheads eventually become dark, rigid and make the skin rough.
Here are a few home remedies to get rid of blackheads.
1. Apply lemon extract – Mix a few drops of lemon juice with a tablespoon of sugar and rub it on the affected areas. This will help to get rid blackheads and will also improve the quality of skin.
2. Toothpaste – This might sound a bit unusual, but application of toothpaste is actually an effective remedy for blackheads. Toothpaste helps to soak excess oil off the skin and also works as an exfoliator. It also helps avoid any spots that might come up post removal of blackheads and keep the skin smooth and supple.
3. Use baking soda – Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of water. Apply the mixture on the affected areas, massage it well and rinse off with cold water.
4. Egg – This remedy might be a bit messy and smelly, but raw eggs have several skin benefits. Take egg whites of one or two eggs and mix it with a tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture on the affected area and allow it to rest for 30 minutes. The mixture removes blackheads and also makes your skin look vibrant and healthy.
