One of the first signs of an impending cold, a sore throat is something that is all too familiar to everyone. In order to treat a sore throat, you can make and apply home remedies which are as effective as medicines bought at the store.

1. Aloe Vera juice – Use Aloe Vera juice twice a day in order to gargle your throat. If you do not like the taste of Aloe Vera, mix it with warm water, but keep in mind that gargling with Aloe Vera juice only will have better and faster effects.

2. The cinnamon effect – Another great sore throat healer is cinnamon. Try adding some cinnamon powder, a little bit of salt, a spoon of honey and pepper in a glass of warm water, mix everything together and drink it. This is an excellent mixture and you can drink it as many times as you want throughout the day.

3. Green or black tea – The health benefits of green and black tea are numerous and they are rich in antioxidants, which help in clearing the immune system. Having a few cups of warm green or black tea while suffering from a sore throat will certainly help ease the problem.

4. Lemon juice and honey mix – Both lemon juice and honey have plenty of healing properties so try mixing some warm water with these two ingredients. Make sure to drink this delicious and healthy mix at least twice a day and you will feel the benefits quickly.
