Wrinkles around the eyes never look pleasant and also give you the feeling that you have started to become old. Growing old is not wrong, but it certainly affects your mind and leaves you with less confidence. We might make a number of efforts for the anti-ageing effect on the skin and delay their appearance with the help of a number of products or home remedies. But a number of times subconsciously we tend to have habits that could trigger the fine lines and wrinkles.

Wrinkles are the folds that appear on the skin and that happens when the skin begins to become lose. It gradually begins to sag. The skin first begins to sag around the eyes and mouth as these are the places that are constantly moving. Blinking and opening and closing the mouth are frequent movements and could make the skin lose gradually if not taken proper care. Apart from your regular skin routines, there could be a few habits that could appear normal, but are actually contributing towards wrinkles and fine lines.

For instance a simple task of removing your eye make-up with a cotton ball, could be one of the triggers. During this process, you tend to press and pull the skin so most of the make-up is removed. What many people do not realize is that the skin around the eyes is very thin and sensitive. When you are stroking it, you are making the skin loose. This could not show an immediate effect, but eventually and over a period of time, this could be one of the reasons for the fine lines and wrinkles.

Even while applying an eye-liner, make sure that you are not pulling your skin upwards. Even with make-up removers you need to use a micro fibre cloth and gently sweep the make-up from the skin. Rubbing it can be the worst you could do to the skin. You also need to be careful while applying moisturizer and under-eye creams.
