American retail giant Target has come up with a new innovative idea to woo its customers to the stores. The company is all set to add a few mini Apple stores in some of the locations and the space would be having iPhones and other popular gadgets on display. Target has assured that the mini stores will be opening in nearly 17 of its stores as soon as this month.

The company also said that it would open more such stores in Target in future if they get the desired results. For now Target already sells the Apple merchandise and the new dedicated stores would help to increase the footfall to the store which will be having more accessories. Even the staff in the dedicated store will be trained from Apple. The brand is also having a new look on Target’s website. Christina Hennington, the Chief Growth officer at Target said that the dedicated area will be able to catch the attention of the customers and the sales would eventually go up. The Chief Growth officer added that there would be videos and displays that would be more engaging.

Christina added that when they have something unique and compelling in terms of the customer experience , it only helps to bring in the customers to the store and it eventually also helps with the sales. On the other hand Apple in a statement said that it is looking forward to continue work with Target in exciting new ways that would serve the customers in the stores as well as online.

Target has remained open during the time of the pandemic and has served the customers as an essential retailer. It also has a wide range of merchandise, third party delivery service known as Shipt and curbside pickup. It has managed to make big profits amidst the pandemic. Earlier Target has also tried to launch Disney shops in some of the stores.
