If you are one of those who are locked down at home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, you can go ahead and try out a few home remedies which are proven and natural as well. Hairfall often happens due to stress and lockdown is a time when you can unwind yourself while sitting at home. Here are three of the most effective hair remedies which are easy and can be tried at home for hair growth.

1. Onion extract – Onion extract or juice usage for hair care is super trending. It is not just good for the scalp but is also great for the hair. The hotness of the vegetable increases blood supply and promotes hair growth. You need to grate a medium sized onion to extract the juice and apply it directly to the scalp and leave it for an hour. Rinse it off with warm water with a mild shampoo. If you do not like the pungent smell of the onion, then you can mix it with any carrier oil of your choice.

2. Gooseberry extract – Gooseberries are also one of the best remedies that can be used to promote hair growth. Amla are stuffed with the goodness of fatty acids that stimulate the growth of hair. It is best if you have access to fresh gooseberries and squeeze out juice out of a couple of fruits and massage it to the scalp. Alternatively, you can also use gooseberry powder with coconut oil that can be applied on the scalp.

3. Fenugreek seeds – Fenugreek are bitter in taste but are filled with plenty of nutrients that not just improves the texture of the hair but also promotes hair growth. Apart from that it also helps to treat a few conditions like dandruff. Soak a spoonful of fenugreek seeds in water overnight and in the morning grind it to a smooth paste. Apply it as a hair mask and leave it for 30 to 40 minutes and rinse it with warm water.
