An official announcement by the Buckingham Palace has mentioned that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be relieved of their royal duties from March 31, 2020. The announcement was made on March 19, 2020. The news has come after the Buckingham Palace is reviewing about the couple using the Sussex Royal as their brand name as they have stepped back from their royal duties. At present talks are on about the usage of the name with the top officials and an official announcement is yet to be made on it.

Britain and the entire world had received a shock when the royal couple had announced in January that they were stepping back as the senior members of the royal family. Prince Harry had explained that h was taking the leap of faith to try getting a life that would be free of journalists following him taking pictures and writing about him since he was born. After the couple officially steps out, Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer be able to use the titles His Royal Highness and Her royal Highness.

However, they will be retaining their titles that leaves with a possibility that Meghan and Harry might change their minds and could also return in near future. Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana had also given up the Her Royal Highness title when her divorce was finalized with Prince Charles.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given up- most of their royal duties and are trying to become independent. Earlier it was said that the couple would be shuttling their time between Canada and Britain but now it seems like the couple will be spending most of their time in Canada with their son Archie. The move might be shocking, but the couple would continue with the theme of their public work that includes youth empowerment, commonwealth, community and others.
