Updated Trends: University Of Texas Shooting Raises Questions Over Allowing Guns Into The Campus
After the recent havoc of the University of Texas shooting, the public and the students have started to raise questions over, allowing guns in the university campus. On Tuesday a masked gunman entered the campus of the University of Texas, with an AK-47 and went berserk, as he randomly started shooting around the premises. Later the gunman entered the library where he eventually shot himself.
The Governor, Rick Perry, who had allowed the carrying of guns and other hand held weapons in the college campus and universities, has now fallen into a web of questions. But the police have said that such allowance of weapons in the campus will only make situations worse, and one such example has been seen on Tuesday.
The governor’s challenger, Bill White, has said that the state’s policy makers should pull their hands out of this and the Universities should decide what should be permissible on the campus. On Tuesday there was havoc in the University of Texas, when a masked gunman started to fire regardlessly on the campus, and later it was suspected that the shooter was a student.
