Cercei Lannister Game Of Thrones Season 7

As the days draw closer, the makers of Game Of Thrones are dropping major teasers for fans. Since we know that the story of Westeros is slowly coming to an end, we are even more eager to find out what is going on behind the scenes. Several clues have been dropped, including trailers that show the current three reigning kings – Cercei Lannister on the Iron Throne, Jon Snow in Winterfell and Danaerys Targaryen in Dragonstone. Also, the Night King is making his way across the Wall, which means that one thing’s for sure – there’s about to be war.

Since Season 6 ended with our mouths hung open, at least one good thing came out of it – we know who are still battling for their lives. And HBO just released the looks for some of the major characters of Game Of Thrones Season 7. Well, first thing’s first…all of them have their mouths open. These are the stills that were taken from an HBO promo. Sadly, even Hodor appeared midway, but we are going to ignore that for the sake of our tear ducts.

And Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington has spoken out on what he thinks on the prophecy of his character. In Season 6 our theories were confirmed that indeed, Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark had a son who turned out to be Jon Snow (R+L=J). But is Jon the Prince That Was Promised, as the followers of R’hllor believe? Melisandre herself spoke about it and there are a number of theories that point to that being true. Kit, of course, dismisses it on behalf of Jon Snow. “I think Jon would hate the term ‘The Prince That Was Promised’. If someone turned to him and said, ‘You’re The Prince That Was Promised’, he just wouldn’t pay much attention. That’s what I love about him. So I don’t really care about it either. You know, I think that’s what’s great about him. He’s got very little ego on him.”
