Apple is killin’ it. After several recent rumors began surfacing about the upcoming iPhone 8, the California based tech giant unveiled cool new gadgets that consumers will no doubt be lapping up as soon as they become available for retail.

Among the pleasant surprises from Apple comes a brand new look for the iPhone 7, along with an affordable edition to the hugely popular iPad. Read on to find out exactly what the company is rolling out in 2017 –

Rose gold is so 2016. Apple has introduced a brand new look to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Welcome a sharp, raging red that makes the smartphone look so appetizing to the eye. You can get your hands on the red iPhone only in 128GB and 256GB. For those who want it in 64GB, you’ve got to stick to their traditional colors. Oh, and with every purchase of the iPhone 7 RED, Apple will make contributions towards their HIV/AIDS program.

The company also unveiled their brand-new edition to their tablet range. The iPad Mini comes as a 9.7 inch device, while the iPad Pro has two sizes – 9.7 inch and 12.9 inch. The price for the iPad Mini starts at $329 for 32GB. The weight of it is similar to the iPad Air 2, and it also had the A9 chip that was part of the iPhone 6S. The setback of the iPad Mini is that it doesn’t have stereo speakers like its predecessor, and it doesn’t come with the True Tone display.

The company will no longer be selling the 16GB and 64GB models from the iPhone SE series. However, they will now come in 32GB and 128GB options. The cheapest of the range will start with a price tag of $399, but the more high-end version will be sold at a retail price of $499.

In an effort to replace current social media apps and have a better experience for iPhone users, the company has introduced a new app called Clips. It’s like a mash-up of Snapchat and iMovie. It allows the user to include special effects to their photos and short videos, which can then be shared directly to social media.
