    Updated Trends: India Is All Set To Boost Missile System And Avionics Research In Hyderabad

    India is all set to boost its missile system and avionics research in the city of Hyderabad, very soon. New Delhi has stated that the future of Indian missile hub and research will lie in Hyderabad, over which the government is ready spend some really large sum of money. The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), has finalized a plan to develop the country’s missile system.

    Along with the missile system, DRDO will also start research and development programs in context to the aviation sector. Included in the proposed plans for the development, India is ready to set up a hypersonic tunnel test facility very soon, which would be used in testing out missiles and possibly even aircrafts.

    The government will be pumping in some $400 million to boost the missile and aviation research. The Director General of the DRDO, Mr. V.K. Saraswat, has personally said that Hyderabad will be the next aviation hub of India. After looking at such programs, it seems that India is really looking to beef up its defense systems, and also its aerial dominance in the south.
