Harry Potter fame Rupert Grint is now a father to a daughter with partner Georgia Groome. It was on May 7, 2020 when the little one arrived. The representative of the couple confirmed about the news and said that they are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl and that they have also asked for their privacy amidst the special times.
31 year old Grint and his 28 year old girlfriend Georgia have been together since 2011 and the announcement about their pregnancy was made in April, 2020. The actor had talked about his plans to have a family in December 2018. Grint during an interview with a leading daily had expressed that he would like to settle down and have kids soon and also shared that if he had a son he would name him Ron.
Rupert Grint during the interview added that he does not know what the future holds for him but has decided to go with the flow and wishes to keep playing some interesting characters to see what happens. During the interview, the actor also opened up about his childhood and said that he was quite shy which then made him realize about his love for acting. Grint had an interesting explanation to it and said that he could hide behind the character and be someone who is completely different.
The Unbeatables actor also shared that he did a number of school plays and fetes and once he had also dressed up as Mystic Meg. Rupert was cast as Ron Weasley for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001 and the final film of the franchise ended a decade back. On the other hand Groome made her acting debut in 2001 with the film Fish Out of Water and is best known for the film London to Brighton that was released in 2006. The actress was last seen in the film Double Date released in 2017.
