Talk about giving the competition a run for their money! Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has posed, for the first time, completely nude in the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine. And she looks stunning! True, maybe there was a little airbrushing and Photoshopping done to the image, but who can beat that body?!
It seems that when Sofia Vergara was offered to do the completely nude shoot, she reportedly told her rep, “I’m going to be 45 years old! Stop putting me in naked things! Let me age with dignity!”
She continued, “People say, ‘Oh, you look like you’re in your twenties’. Well, it’s not true.”
As a young mother and throughout her twenties and thirties, she claims she didn’t have to work much on her skin, something that none of us millennials can say for ourselves. A wrong diet, excessive alcohol and so many other factors cause our skin to age faster than ever before. But it’s Sofia Vergara, so obviously she’s got to have it all! “I had never thought of the word ‘pore’. Then I’m like, ‘Sh*t! What do I do with these?”
She explained, “Here’s a woman, forty-five, being able to show her body. It’s not like before when it was just young girls.”
And of course, in any Hollywood interview, the topic of her better half, husband Joe Manganiello comes to mind. The hunky Mike XXL star has been keeping himself buff even though he himself is currently in his late thirties.
“One of the first things Joe told me when we started dating was, ‘I like how you’re always very well put together’. He said, ‘I’ve had girlfriends that are all day long prancing around the house in sweats, no makeup’: I’m not saying that’s bad, it’s great.”
And she gives a little piece of advice that she has carried with herself throughout her life: “For good or for worse, it’s the way I grew up: accept yourself but also be better than yourself.”
