Elefriends is a supportive online community created by the mental health charity mind. This online community is a good place to share, be heard and listen. It’s one of the best places to listen to others and share experiences. On Elefriends you can:

• Post updates and catch up with the latest news on community feed.
• Read and write posts when offline.

• Choose when to get notifications.
The app is free to use and is available for over 17’s. You must provide a pass code to login.

Silvercloud

This free to use app has all the supportive programs for those with mental and behavioral issues. Silvercloud also has interactive programmes that address communication skills, time management, stress management, goal setting, sleep management, relaxation and many others.

RCPsych Mentah Health App

This free to use app was developed by Dr. Melvyn Zhang for the Royal College of psychiatrists. The aim of RCPsych Mentah Health App is to:

• Offer general information about mental health disorders.
• Offer links to podcasts and videos that are relevant to mental health.
• Offer links to the Royal College Website for further information on mental health disorders.

Five Ways of Wellbeing

Five Ways of Wellbeing helps users feel good about themselves and function well in their daily activities. You can set activities, track your progress or reflect on your wellbeing from your mobile device. This amazing app is free to use.

Daily Mood Tracker – Daylio

Daily Mood Tracker – Daylio acts like a private diary but it requires no typing. Just pick your mood and add activities that you have done during the day. This format helps you understand your habits better and come up with patterns that make you more productive. Daily Mood Tracker – Daylio is free to install but it has adverts and in-app purchases.

Catch It

Catch It is a free app developed by the Universities of Manchester and Liverpool and helps users to understand their moods through an ongoing diary. Catch It illustrates the fundamental values of psychological approaches to mental health and wellbeing.

Happier

Happier a free mental health app for the Apple Watch that helps users stay more positive and present throughout the day. Use it for quick meditation, capture and replay happy moments that lift your mood. You also enjoy inspirational quotes and connect with other Happier users in a collaborative environment.

Smart Recipes

Smart Recipes is a free to use app developed by Change4Life helps users prepare healthy tasty meals. The app’s mixer will help you remember ingredients and track what you have eaten.

Couch to 5k

This is a free to use personal trainer that will help you become a runner. A new user starts off as a beginner but the app builds you up gradually with a mix of walking and running. Just choose one of the four trainers and let them guide you through every session. Couch to 5k is presented in collaboration with BBC Get Inspired.

Relax Melodies

As the name suggests, Relax Melodies is a relaxation and sleep app that has the following features:
